RingCentral Events · 2024–2026
Tech lead for admin adoption and usage analytics in RingCentral Events (April 2026), from design through bug bash to feature-flagged release.
As tech lead, delivered admin analytics for RingCentral Events (April 2026), covering seats, users, activity and creators, from planning to a feature-flagged release in about two months.
Broke the initiative into stories and tasks, and wrote the frontend and backend API contracts with the backend engineer.
Built the admin view: usage KPIs, date filters, a top-creators table, and clear loading, error and empty states.
Kept the first release focused by moving related but separate work, such as embedding, into its own track.
Wrote the bug-bash scenarios, ran the bug bash, and released behind a feature flag.
Contributed to the launch of organization-level analytics (November 2024): built the overview charts, the event-format filter and the most-visited-events view, and improved data loading during the bug bash (loading each view on demand, with clearer loading states).
Later added an engagement-by-segment chart (2025), building the UI against agreed contracts so it was ready when the backend landed.
Built configurable report exports (2025): moved the reports page into the main event dashboard app behind a feature flag, then added column selection so organizers download only the data they need.
Owned in-product feedback on AI-generated content in Creator Lab: organizers rate results and add a comment, behind a consent check, with product analytics on how the feedback is used.
Simplified it after review to a single analytics path, removing an extra third-party script.
Built the discovery paths that lead organizers from recordings and email pages into Creator Lab, across three parts of the product.
Contributed to Creator Lab’s general availability in February 2026.
